All this is very simple. Once we said, " Hey, laptop webcams are crap! "For years, Asus said," We hear you! How about using your phone as a webcam?"And that's exactly how Zenbook 13 users get the usual cam feature to wirelessly connect their phone's camera to their laptop.

In addition, Zenbook 13 has a touchpad that acts as an app summoner at the same time. I thought at first that the Number Pad 2.0 feature was a secret, but as it turns out,I crack the numbers much more often than I thought. Number Pad 2.0 gives you quick access to zippy calculations.

I have a lot more for Zenbook 13 to impress, including a full day(and then a few)battery life,a click keyboard, an ultra-thin case, a gorgeous Ole screen, and much more. Laptops are not perfect.

Asus Zenbook 13 Design

The all-metal case of Zenbook 13 took me back to my childhood to know the groove of my father's record collection. The cover has the same subtle concentric circle pattern seen in bright light. In the center of the spiral rests a shiny, silver Asus badge in a modern,futuristic font.

Zenbook 13 is not particularly interesting, but for users who want a laptop that screams(or better yet whispers)"I'm here, but I'm taking care of my own damn business," coated in a pine gray shade, this stylish and subtle color is ideal.

The laptop should have a groove for easy lifting of the cover, but the Zenbook 13 does not. I often wrestled with a laptop that uses a screen and finally won the victory after sticking my nails into a narrow gap and stabbing them. But when I finally opened the Zenbook 13, it was satisfying to see the angle of the notebook for optimal spelling(thanks to the carefully designed ergo lift hinge). Slim bezel frames a 13.3 inch screen; the top bezel is slightly thicker to accommodate a 720P camera.

The edge-to-edge keyboard caught my attention. Just look, I can see that it's not too flat and gives me the rhythmic typing experience I love. Edge-to-edge is a wide touchpad that simultaneously acts as Asus' innovative Number Pad 2.0(and more later)on the keyboard. The bottom of the laptop has two speakers, four rubber feet and vents that fire to the floor.

It is also worth noting that the Zenbook 13 passed the very demanding mill standard 810 test. This test means that this laptop meets US Army standards for reliability and durability. Within reason, Zenbook 13 can withstand extreme temperatures ,drops and vibrations.

The Zenbook 13 is very thin and compact, with a thickness of 0.5 inches and a weight of 2.5 pounds. Although it is heavier than the Acer Swift 5(0.6 inches,2.3 pounds) and lighter than the Dell 13 2-in-1(0.6 inches,2.9 pounds)and the Spectre 360 13(0.7 inches,2.8 pounds).)

It has two Thunderbolt 4 ports for fast charging, fast transfer speed and 4K display connection. This port is located next to the micro card reader. There is no headphone jack, but you can use wireless earbuds or headphones instead.

Display

Zenbook 13's 13.3-inch screen of 1920 x 1080 pixels has the most popular display technology. The colorful panel consists of a thin bezel, making the spatial image ratio of the body 88%.

I watched Infinite's trailer as Preppy Mark Wahlberg sat opposite the menacing interrogator. The show captured all the consternation on Wahlberg's face when the frown deepened and the frown appeared. Asus boasts that the speakers firing from below provide an" immersive, clear sound", and this is certainly true-money from old ones. While playing the video on an Asus laptop,I felt the sound wrap around my head like a soft, soft scarf.

Nevertheless, I could not wait to test the speakers. I started Spotify and jammed it to the tune of the Weeknd and Ariana Grande's " Save Your Tears(Remix).."Snappy melodies filled my medium-sized test room, but sounded small maximum volume.

There is a sound processing application where you can adjust the speaker as you like. There are three sound profiles: music, movies and games. Music is enabled by default. After trying different presets, I came to the conclusion that the music is actually the best audio profile for a Spotify session. I called Lupin on Netflix to test movie presets and found it best for watching movies; music and game performances made the show's soundtrack sound so quiet.

Keyboard and Touchpad

Asus keyboard always give me life, Zenbook 13 is no different. Small laptops are a portable format, but edge-to-edge keyboards are great and responsible. All this time I thought I was writing about 85 words per minute on average, but did I lie?

In the 10 Fastfinger test, I reached 91 words per minute. I use Zenbook's keyboard 13 to write this review—I respond to a barrage of emails and breathe through it like Jim Carrey's superspeed typing and a heavily meagre Bruce Almighty scene. The keyboard provides solid tactile feedback, and the keyboard switch is pleasantly quiet.

Now let's talk about a wide 5.1 x 2.6 inch touchpad. This touchpad simultaneously acts as a numeric keypad(numeric pad 2.0)with led lights. The touchpad reacts magically to the gestures of Windows 10,including scrolling with two fingers and zooming with a pinch. You can connect the Number Pad 2.0 by holding down the top right corner. When you're ready to dive into some calculations, you can swipe right to the top left corner.

At first I thought why would I need this?" But I never realized how much I count during the day. To determine how much more money you need to spend to receive an Uber Reit coupon worth at least$25,I'm using much more math than I admit. In order to write this review, I had to make a lot of calculations. Whether you're a mathematician or general Joe, Garrison 2.0 is damn useful.

Improved performance

This processor includes the following features: This sounds good on paper, but I decided to put Zenbook 13's multitasking features to the test. I flooded the Asus laptop 30 Google Chrome tab, and the two were playing YouTube videos at the same time. I booted my new Google document and started plugging it in and there was no delay and no slowdown as expected.

The Asus laptop has the same Gipupu as its competitors, but only reaches 20 frames per second,lagging behind 13 frames per second, Swift 5 frames, Spectre 360 13 frames, and the average premium laptop(28 frames).

In the 3 Didmark Night Raid benchmark, which tests features such as dynamic reflection and post-processing effects, the Zenbook 13 scored 14,516 points, beating the 13(9,034), the Spectre 360 13(13,743), and the average Premium Notebook(11,293). Unfortunately, the Asus laptop could not surpass the Swift 5, which had an impressive score of 17,108.

Battery life

Thanks to the impressive durability of the Zenbook 13, it can be connected to an outlet.

In a portable magazine battery test with continuous internet surfing and 150 knitted WiFi brightness, Zenbook 13 ran for 13 hours and 6 minutes. Remember that these laptops usually have an electronic screen that blocks battery life. This laptop can beat the average Premium laptop 10: 30(10: 30), Spectre 360 13(12: 32), but Asus laptop can not beat the Swift 5(13: 37)again.

13 Columns

Zenbook 13 is slim and compact, so heat dissipation is a challenge as well. Asus laptop was noticeably baked when I used the mirrored screen to display my phone app. However, in the low control process, Zenbook 13 was relatively cool.

Our thermal test, including play 15 minutes of 1080P video, touchpad, keyboard bottom, reach 77 degrees Fahrenheit,85 degrees and 89 degrees, respectively. Temperature below 95 degree comfort level. The hottest area of the laptop is near the vent(below). It was hovering at about 98 degrees.

Network Camera

Zenbook 13's webcam isn't the best, but it's not the worst. It's decent to replicate most colors; I caught my burgundy nails, the gold and white curtains behind me, and my bright purple walls. Yes, this webcam has visual noise and lacks clarity, but to be honest, do you really want a camera that captures all the pimples, pores and pigmentation?

If you answered "Yes" to this question, you should look at the website with the best external webcam.

This app also allows you to use your phone's camera instead of the built-in webcam using the Share camera feature. I tried this with my wings and it has some advantages and disadvantages. The advantage of course is that smartphone cameras are generally better, so I have much sharper and sharper photos than web cameras. The cone is that there is a significant delay between my movement and the screen image. The app also enables noise cancellation using an artificial intelligence-enabled clear voice microphone that filters ambient noise during video conferencing.

Zenbook 13's webcam has no physical privacy, but has a kill switch button that disables the camera and protects it from hackers and voyeurs.

Software and Warranty

The application is one of the most useful applications. It provides information about battery status, fan profile, WiFi connection and much more. You can set the AI noise to cancel on or off. You can also play around with multiple screen options to optimize your screen for different tasks. You can access system diagnostic scans, installation of the latest updates, customer support, etc.

If you download a link to the Asus mobile app, the Asus branded software will become even more interactive. I was able to perfectly transfer files from my phone using the second screen mirror or LG wing screen. As mentioned earlier, you can also change your webcam to your phone's camera.

There is a reason why we say Asus is the most innovative laptop company. Instead of sitting down and playing it safe,the company wants to provide solutions to the obstacles plaguing the industry. Zenbook 13 is a testament to Asus's ongoing commitment to solving problems and making our lives easier.

The Zenbook 13 may not have been able to beat the beastly Acer Swift 5 in our benchmark, but it beat the Dell 13 and Spectre 360 13 in graphics and file transfer tests. With a very colorful oleds display, it surpassed all competitors. Keying the keyboard is impressive-too-especially for compact, portable laptops. Laptops with a 13-inch screen generally feel cramped, but writing with Zenbook 13 felt pleasant.

Numo Pad 2.0 is another outstanding feature. You think it will only help accountants or other mathematicians, but believe me, they probably write more numbers than you think.

Asus is also an all-in-one software that can easily handle all your requirements, including fast wireless file transfer, screen mirroring, setting fan settings, starting updates, running system diagnostics and most importantly. In addition, Zenbook 13 is charged for more than 13 hours.
